Bharat Dahal Launches Sharp Criticism of U.S. ‘Imperialism,’ Labels It an ‘Abducting Plunderer Power’

Kathmandu — Bharat Dahal, Chairman of the Trimool Nepal Party and a political analyst, has leveled strong accusations against the United States, portraying it as an “abducting, plundering form of imperialism.” He has claimed that the United States abducted Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro in what he described as a “satanic-style operation.”

According to Dahal, following the incident, former U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to seize Venezuela’s oil resources, which Dahal cited as a clear example of open imperialist behavior. He argued that the United States, which he said had long prospered by plundering global resources, has in recent times been hollowed out economically and is therefore reverting to aggressive and inhumane methods.

“The United States has adopted a policy of asserting dominance through abduction, plunder, and the use of force even in the 21st century,” Dahal said. He added that this tendency is not confined to Venezuela alone but has spread globally.

Linking the issue to Nepal, Dahal claimed that similar “abduction strategies” have already been employed in the country as well. He alleged that external forces attempted to interfere in Nepal with a plan to make Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah the prime minister.

Dahal further claimed that the United States is prepared to impose plunder-based domination even over countries such as Canada and Greenland to serve its own interests, and alleged that forces acting as its “brokers” are also active in Nepal. He warned that such activities pose a serious risk of pushing the country toward instability and conflict.

Calling on the Nepali people to become vigilant in time, Dahal said, “It has become an urgent necessity today to take a hard stance against those who act as agents of foreign powers and set the country on fire.” According to him, safeguarding national independence and sovereignty now requires a clear and firm role from the people themselves.
