Prime Minister Karki to Visit Muktinath: Pilgrimage, Election Training, and Return Schedule

Kathmandu / Prime Minister Sushila Karki has expressed her desire to visit Muktinath tomorrow morning. Prime Minister Karki is scheduled to depart for the holy site at 7:30 AM tomorrow, for which a Nepali Army helicopter with the call sign ‘NA 058’ (Agusta) has been mobilized.

Prime Minister Karki will depart directly from the capital towards Mustang. During the journey, after refueling in Pokhara, she will arrive in Jomsom, Mustang, from where she is scheduled to offer prayers at the Muktinath Temple. Sources claim there is also a possibility of discussions with local representatives concerning the promotion of religious tourism and the development of Mustang.

After the Muktinath darshan, Prime Minister Karki plans to return to Pokhara on the same day. From Pokhara, she will land at the Mid-Air Base in Butwal (22nd Brigade Headquarters, Ramnagar). The following morning (on the 9th), she will participate as the chief guest in the provincial-level election training program organized at the Lumbini Province Training Center.

Prime Minister Karki’s Private Secretary, Aadarsh Shrestha, informed that she is scheduled to return to Kathmandu on the same day after the program concludes. Security arrangements have been tightened for this two-day aerial journey, keeping in mind the Prime Minister’s health, security, and schedule.
