Nepali Student’s Outstanding Performance in International Anti-Corruption Competition Honored at Russian Embassy

Kathmandu – Nepali student A. Pangeni, who secured third place in the “Best Poster” category of the international youth anti-corruption social advertising competition “Together Against Corruption!” organized by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Russia, has been honored at a special ceremony held at the Russian Embassy in Kathmandu.

At the grand event held at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Kathmandu, Charge d’Affaires of the Russian Federation R.R. Rakshayev presented the award. Representatives from the Russian House in Kathmandu and family members of the awardee were also present at the ceremony.

This achievement, secured by the Nepali student outperforming millions of international participants in the competition, has brightened Nepal’s international image. Pangeni’s creative poster effectively conveyed the message against corruption, which received high appreciation from the judges.

Speaking on the occasion, Rakshayev highlighted the importance of Russia-Nepal relations and emphasized the necessity of youth participation in the fight against corruption. He expressed confidence that Pangeni’s success would inspire other Nepali youth to showcase their talents on international platforms.

A representative from the Russian House stated that the Russian House continues to make efforts to further strengthen cultural and educational cooperation between Russia and Nepal.

After receiving the award, Pangeni credited his teachers and family for this achievement and emphasized that the younger generation should take the lead in the fight against corruption.

It is expected that the achievement secured by the Nepali student in this competition will help further enhance diplomatic and cultural relations between Nepal and Russia.
