Prem Sagar Poudel Expresses Concern for Nepali Safety Amid Middle East Tensions, Urges Embassies to Take Immediate Initiative

Kathmandu. President of the Nepal-China Mutual Cooperation Society, Prem Sagar Poudel, has expressed serious concern over the unexpected tensions and instability recently emerging in the Middle East region. He stated that the escalating tensions have raised worries regarding the safety and future of Nepali brothers and sisters working in the area.
President Poudel has made a heartfelt appeal to all Nepali citizens residing in the UAE, Israel, Iran, and across other Middle Eastern countries, urging them to exercise high vigilance, follow the instructions of local administrations, and prioritize their personal safety above all. He has also called upon all Nepalis to remain vigilant and prepared to face any emergency situation.
Furthermore, President Poudel has requested the Nepali embassies in the respective countries and the Government of Nepal to take immediate and necessary steps to ensure the safety of Nepali citizens in these nations. He drew the government’s attention to the need for regular monitoring of their situation, operating contact centers, and making arrangements for rescue and assistance if required.
Poudel expressed his belief that all Nepalis must remain united in this time of crisis and that everyone should contribute from their respective positions for the safety and dignity of every Nepali in distress.
