Khamenei’s Sacrifice: Condemnation in Nepal Against the Terrorist Attack on Iran

Kathmandu – The terrorist attack carried out by American imperialism on Iran, a sovereign nation in the Middle East, has been strongly opposed in Nepal. The attack has resulted in the deaths of the leader of the Islamic Revolution and Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with dozens of others.

The Socialist Communist Party, Nepal, has issued a press statement strongly condemning the American terrorist attack. The party has expressed heartfelt tributes to Supreme Leader Khamenei and other anti-imperialist Iranian fighters who sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against imperialism to protect Iranian independence and sovereignty. Deep condolences have also been extended to all Iranian people during this mournful time.

The statement reads, ‘This terrorist attack by America on Iran is based on the objective of capturing the oil of the Middle East. Iran had been an obstacle to the American goal of seizing the minerals of the Middle East. American imperialism had been carrying out various plots, conspiracies, and attacks for a long time to subdue Iran. Iran had been continuously resisting all those imperialist attacks and establishing itself as the leader of the entire Middle East.’

The party commented that the recent attack on Iran confirms the violent and anti-humanitarian nature of imperialism, stating that it has torn apart international rules, laws, and norms. The statement mentions, ‘If this type of American terrorist bullying is not stopped in time, on one hand, it will continue to pose a threat to the independence and existence of weak nations, and on the other hand, it could create a situation where humanity has to face the risk of a world war.’

Urging all anti-imperialist forces around the world to increase pressure for an end to all types of unjust wars and in favor of world peace, the party expressed the view that without ending imperialism and capitalism, it is not possible to protect world peace and a prosperous future for humankind.

Finally, all Nepali brothers and sisters in the Middle East have been requested to remain vigilant about their safety, and the attention of the Government of Nepal has been drawn to arranging security for the Nepalis there.
