China Ready to Promote Trade with US: Business Delegation to be Sent

Kathmandu, March 2: China has announced plans to enhance exchanges and cooperation with American companies in the fields of investment, trade, and technology. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) has also revealed its plan to send a delegation of Chinese entrepreneurs to visit the United States at an appropriate time in the future.

“The business communities of China and the United States have always been close and mutually beneficial partners,” said CCPIT spokesperson Wang Wenshuai at a regular press conference. He informed that to create a favorable environment for cooperation between the two countries, the CCPIT has so far approved 119 activities for Chinese enterprises to participate in exhibitions to be held in the United States in 2026. By February, 30 of these activities had already been completed.

Spokesperson Wang also expressed commitment to effectively utilizing the dedicated working group for foreign-invested enterprises to meet the reasonable demands of US-invested enterprises. He further stated that the CCPIT will take the initiative to work with all parties, including the US business community, to build consensus, deepen cooperation, and promote inclusive, strong, and sustainable growth of the Asia-Pacific and global economies. This will be done on the occasion of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit and the B20 business activities to be held during the G20 Leaders’ Summit in December.
