Rastriya Swatantra Party Takes Huge Lead in Proportional Vote Count, Congress and UML Left Behind

Kathmandu / In the ongoing proportional vote counting for the Member of Parliament election 2082, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has taken a massive lead with a significant margin. Out of the total 2,139,543 votes counted so far, the RSP has secured 51.49 percent of the votes.
The RSP has secured the first position with 1,101,625 votes, while the Nepali Congress is in second place with 26.94 percent of the votes. Congress has obtained 362,420 votes.
Similarly, CPN-UML is in third place with 13.61 percent of the votes. UML has received 291,811 votes. Likewise, the Nepal Communist Party has secured 5.94 percent of the votes with 127,191 votes.
The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has received 78,324 votes with 3.66 percent, while the Shram Sanskriti Party has obtained 45,094 votes with 2.11 percent.
According to the vote results so far, the Rastriya Swatantra Party has demonstrated an outstanding performance, while Congress and UML, despite being in first and second positions, have fallen far behind when compared to RSP’s vote count. Based on the counting so far, smaller parties have also registered their presence.
