Oli Concedes Defeat: ‘The People’s Verdict is Unconditionally Accepted, UML Will Stand Stronger’

Kathmandu – CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has stated that he and the party could not achieve the expected results in this election, accepting the people’s verdict. He said that in a democracy, the final decision rests with the people, and he fully respects that decision.

In his reaction, Oli expressed heartfelt gratitude to all voters, leaders, activists, volunteers, well-wishers, and supporters who stood by the party by voting for the sun symbol even during this difficult time. “Your trust is our strength. Your support is our power,” he said.

Oli asserted that despite the election results not being in their favor, their commitment and dedication to serving the people remain unwavering. He stated, “We will remain among the people, continue to work for the people, and move forward by further strengthening this relationship of trust.”

Finally, thanking everyone who voted, supported, and placed their trust in them, Oli expressed confidence that the party will emerge even stronger in the days ahead.
