UML Unveils Manifesto with 11 Immediate Action Points

Kathmandu — CPN-UML has released its election manifesto, focusing on the upcoming elections, which includes a list of 11 tasks to be undertaken immediately. At a special program organized in Kathmandu, UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli unveiled the manifesto, which encompasses five fundamental declarations and 25 pillars of prosperity, stating that it has been given policy priority.

Chairman Oli informed that a schedule for 11 immediate tasks, with specified timelines, would be prepared by the Council of Ministers formed after the elections. Making it clear that a country is not built by conflict between generations, he said, “A nation is built only by the energy of the youth and the vision of the experienced generation.”

Oli termed this election a referendum between the forces that build the nation and those that destroy it. “This election is also a struggle between treason and self-respect,” he stated. “This election will be decisive to protect the constitution and strengthen democracy.”

The UML chairman expressed his party’s commitment to fulfilling the action plans outlined in the manifesto to propel the country on the path to prosperity. He also noted that the manifesto gives special priority to employment, social justice, good governance, and infrastructure development.

UML leaders have stated that the presented manifesto includes concrete action plans centered on the country’s economic prosperity, good governance, and social justice.
