China Ready to Maintain Healthy, Stable and Sustainable Trade Relations with US
Beijing – China is willing to work with the United States to maintain healthy, stable and sustainable bilateral economic and trade relations, a government spokesperson has stated.
Commerce Ministry spokesperson He Yongqian made these remarks on Thursday during a regular press conference in response to a question regarding the upcoming sixth round of China-US economic and trade consultations.
She said, “Both sides have maintained communication at all levels through the China-US economic and trade consultation mechanism.”
The spokesperson stated that China is ready to coordinate with the US side to uphold the consensus reached between the two heads of state during their meeting in Busan in 2025 and their recent telephone conversation on February 4.
Spokesperson He said, “China is ready to work with the US side through equal consultation to properly manage differences, expand practical cooperation, and maintain the healthy, stable and sustainable development of bilateral economic and trade relations, so as to better benefit both countries and the world.”
