CPN-UML allocated morning slot till 2 PM, royalists given afternoon for demonstrations on Jestha 15

The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has allocated separate time slots for demonstrations after holding discussions with both CPN-UML and pro-monarchy groups.

CPN-UML plans to celebrate Republic Day on Jestha 15 (May 29), while the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has scheduled protests demanding monarchy restoration on the same day.

The administration held separate negotiations with leaders from both parties to coordinate the timings. District officials also contacted RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden to finalize the schedule.

Both parties have planned their programs around key locations including Bhrikutimandap, Sahid Gate, and Ratnapark, with the administration ensuring segregated timings to prevent clashes.
