Dahal’s Message Calling for Clean Elections:

“If Elections Are Fair, the NCP Will Become the Leading Force”

Kathmandu – Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Coordinator of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP), has said that clean and fair elections are the key foundation for freeing the country from the current political and social crisis. Addressing a party entry program held on Saturday, he made it clear that only through impartial elections can democracy be strengthened and the Nepal Communist Party established as a powerful national force.

Coordinator Dahal noted that in recent times, a large number of cadres and youths from various leftist political streams—particularly from the Revolutionary Communist Party Nepal, the CPN-UML, and other parties—have been joining the Nepal Communist Party. Interpreting this trend as a sign of growing public trust and a search for an alternative political force, he claimed that popular support for his party is steadily increasing.

He asserted that if undesirable activities, manipulation, and undue influence in the electoral process can be stopped, the Nepal Communist Party could emerge as the leading force in the upcoming elections. “If elections can be made clean and fair, our party can become the number one force in the next polls,” Dahal said, adding, “Now is the time to further strengthen the party and move forward to safeguard national and public interests.”

Dahal also emphasized that after the people’s democratic revolution, there now lies a historic responsibility to take the country toward a socialist revolution, stressing the need for all communist forces to move ahead in unity. “The time has come for everyone to unite and move forward on the path of socialist transformation,” he said.

During the program, youths from Kavrepalanchok and various other districts formally joined the Nepal Communist Party, leaving behind the Revolutionary Communist Party Nepal and other political parties. The enthusiastic participation of new members made the program more vibrant and energetic.

Dahal’s remarks are being viewed as a political message reinforcing preparations for the upcoming elections and strengthening the prospects of leftist unity.
