Enemy’s Terror Strategy After Defeat on Battlefield: Putin

Moscow – Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused the adversary of resorting to individual and mass terror after failing to inflict a strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield. Addressing a board meeting of the Federal Security Service (FSB), he emphasized that the current international situation is complex and that security personnel must exercise maximum vigilance.

President Putin stated that the adversary has intensified the shelling of cities, sabotage of infrastructure, and attempts to assassinate government and military officials. “They are prepared to go to any extreme. Reports have appeared in the media about their intentions to use even a nuclear component, and they understand well what the consequence of this could be,” he warned.

Furthermore, he revealed a conspiracy to blow up the Russian gas pipelines lying under the Black Sea, ‘TurkStream’ and ‘BlueStream.’ “They cannot remain calm. They are doing everything to derail the agreement process achieved through diplomatic means,” he alleged.

President Putin directed that border security be further strengthened, infrastructure fortified, and the combat readiness and technical capability of border authorities increased. He stated that counterintelligence units must intensify work in the rear areas of the special military operation zone to detect the activities of foreign intelligence agency personnel and agents recruited by them.

In the context of rising cybercrime and cyberattacks by foreign intelligence agencies, he instructed the development and improvement of the state system for detecting, preventing, and eliminating the consequences of computer attacks on Russian information resources.

In conclusion, on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day, he paid tribute to all FSB personnel, especially martyrs serving in border security, special forces, and military counterintelligence, stating, “The contribution of all operational personnel deployed to ensure Russia’s security in Donbas and Novorossiya is unparalleled.”
