Enthusiastic Young Leader Suman Mall Gets UML Ticket in Banke–3, Recognized for Development and Leadership

Kathmandu — The Nepal Communist Party (UML) has officially announced young leader Suman Mall as its candidate for Banke constituency number 3. Party leaders and workers say that the changing political landscape, coupled with strong support from local youth and the general public, played a decisive role in granting him the ticket.
During his tenure as the former ward chair of Khajura Rural Municipality Ward 1, Suman Mall successfully implemented development projects in electricity, roads, and communication, improving the living standards of the local population. These achievements have established him as a popular and trusted young leader among the people.
Although the party had initially planned to nominate Dal Bahadur Sunar, within 24 hours UML reversed the decision, giving priority to Suman Mall’s popularity and dynamic youth leadership.
Meanwhile, the party’s decisions to nominate Surya Dhakal and former minister Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai for Banke constituencies 1 and 2, respectively, remain unchanged.
Analysts describe UML’s move as a bold decision recognizing both development experience and energetic young leadership. Suman Mall’s candidacy is expected to send a strong message in favor of regional development and youth-friendly political leadership.
