“Falgun 21 Election is the Result of Western Soft Coup, Nepal a Victim of Neo-colonization”: Dev Prasad Gurung
Kathmandu – Leader of the Nepali Communist Party, Dev Prasad Gurung, has alleged that the election held on Falgun 21 (March 5) is the result of a soft coup sponsored by Western power centers. He commented that this election is not an unforeseen incident but a living example of neo-colonization carried out over the past 6/7 years by regularly utilizing Nepali agents.
Leader Gurung claimed that the ‘Madhesh-centric revolt’ incited on Bhadra 23 and 24, 2074 (September 2017), was a reaction to the three old parties rejecting the American military agreement (SPP). According to him, at that time, there was an attempt to abrogate the constitution and impose a state of emergency by using the President and the Army Chief, after inciting sponsored vandalism in the name of an uprising.
“If a state of emergency had been imposed, the plan was to bring in the American army under the banner of a multinational force in the name of the United Nations,” Gurung said. “But that attempt failed after the President and the Army Chief did not agree.”
According to him, after that plan failed, Western power centers devised a strategy to apply the 2019 Ukraine model to Nepal. He alleges that as a result of this, the sponsored election of Falgun 21 took place, and the conspiracy to displace the three old parties and establish Rabi Lamichhane (Balen) as a second Zelenskyy has been successful.
“The results are coming in as per the sponsored election. The objective of making Balen the Prime Minister, implementing the American military agreement (SPP), and bringing in foreign troops is now clearly visible,” Leader Gurung stated.
He claimed that this entire sequence of events is a process of a soft coup regularly conducted by Western power centers over the past 6/7 years by utilizing Nepali agents. The Nepali Communist Party leader has also called upon all Nepalis to remain alert against this and to protect the nation’s sovereignty.
