According to Health and Population Ministry Secretary Dr. Bikas Devkota, the camp is providing paediatric, gynaecological, dental, and psychosocial counselling services.<\/p>\n<p>By Friday evening, 68 people had already received services, and arrangements have been made to provide treatment on-site wherever possible and refer cases to government hospitals when further care is needed, Secretary Devkota said. Another camp is also operational in Kirtipur, where a significant number of people have sought eye and dental services.<\/p>\n<p>The camp at the stadium is being led by Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital, with specialist teams also deployed from Paropakar Maternity and Women&#8217;s Hospital, Patan Mental Hospital, and Kanti Children&#8217;s Hospital. Dr. Basudev Karki of Patan Mental Hospital said psychosocial counselling is being provided along with necessary medicines.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Displacement from their homes can cause psychosocial stress, and some may present with pre-existing illnesses or infections, making early identification and treatment through these camps crucial,&#8221; Dr. Devkota said. Based on the first day&#8217;s experience, services will be made more effective from Saturday, he added.
