Kathmandu \u2014 The Russian Armed Forces have achieved advances on four major fronts over the past 24 hours as part of the special military operation, the Russian Defence Ministry stated on Saturday.<\/p>\n

The Sever (North) Group struck one mechanised, one air assault, one assault regiment, and one territorial defence brigade in the Sumy region, destroying more than 175 troops, 16 motor vehicles, and two field artillery guns. Two heavy mechanised and one territorial defence brigade were also damaged in the Kharkov region. The Zapad (West) Group struck three mechanised, one assault, and two territorial defence brigades in the Kharkov and Donetsk regions, claiming to have destroyed 210 troops, one infantry fighting vehicle, one Bucephalus armoured personnel carrier, four armoured fighting vehicles, 19 motor vehicles, and three artillery guns, including a Polish-made 155mm Krab self-propelled artillery system.<\/p>\n

The Yuzhnaya (South) Group struck six mechanised, one mountain assault, and one territorial defence brigade in Donetsk, destroying 160 troops, one Kazak armoured fighting vehicle, and 17 motor vehicles. The Tsentr (Centre) Group struck five mechanised, one jaeger, one airmobile, one assault brigade, one assault regiment, one marine, and five national guard brigades in Donetsk and Dnepropetrovsk regions, claiming to have destroyed 320 troops, seven armoured fighting vehicles, seven motor vehicles, and three field artillery guns.<\/p>\n

The Vostok (East) Group struck two mechanised, one assault, one air assault brigade, and four assault regiments in Zaporozhye and Dnepropetrovsk regions, destroying more than 330 troops, two armoured personnel carriers, two armoured fighting vehicles, and eight motor vehicles. The Dnepr Group struck one heavy mechanised, one mountain assault, and one unmanned systems brigade in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, neutralising up to 40 troops, a US-made M113 armoured personnel carrier, 14 motor vehicles, two field artillery guns \u2014 including a US-made 155mm Paladin self-propelled artillery system \u2014 and two electronic warfare stations.<\/p>\n

Russian aerial strikes damaged Ukrainian transport infrastructure, ammunition depots, UAV storage and preparation facilities, and temporary deployment areas at 147 locations. Air defence systems shot down four guided bombs, one HIMARS projectile, and 740 drones, the ministry claimed.<\/p>\n
