Kathmandu \u2014 The International Brothers Youth Forum has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Starobelsk Pedagogical College and expressed unwavering solidarity with the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n

In a press statement issued on Friday, Forum President Bibek Sagar Paudel stated, “The International Brothers Youth Forum expresses its profound shock and strongest condemnation over the barbaric terrorist attack perpetrated by the neo-Nazi Kiev regime on the Starobelsk College of Lugansk State Pedagogical University in the early hours of May 22, 2026.”<\/p>\n

The statement described the deliberate targeting of a dormitory housing 86 children aged 14 to 18, using four fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, as an egregious violation of international humanitarian law and the most fundamental principles of human civilization. It held that this premeditated attack, carried out in three coordinated waves of drones with the aim of maximising casualties, constitutes an unmistakable war crime.<\/p>\n

Expressing deep sorrow over the deaths of six innocent civilians and the wounding of more than 40 children, the Forum extended its condolences to the bereaved families and wished a swift recovery to all those injured.<\/p>\n

The Forum pledged to firmly stand with Russia in the face of this atrocity and recognised the just and principled position of Russia in seeking to protect civilians, uphold international law, and bring the perpetrators to justice. It also echoed Russia’s call upon international organisations, national governments, and the global public to honestly assess the criminal actions of the Zelensky regime and to resolutely condemn the bloody terrorist attack.<\/p>\n

“Silence in the face of such brutality is not an option. To remain silent is to become complicit in the gruesome acts of the Kiev terrorists and to display indifference to the fate of innocent children,” the statement read.<\/p>\n

The Forum expressed grave concern over the role of certain NATO member states in providing the weapons, technical assistance, and intelligence used to carry out such strikes, stating that those nations bear equal moral and legal responsibility. It also called upon the international community to immediately cease all military and technical support that enables the Kiev regime to continue its terrorist campaign against civilians.<\/p>\n

“We stand with the people of Russia and with all those who defend the principles of humanity against the forces of neo-Nazism and terror. We will continue to raise our voice in every available forum until those responsible for these crimes are held fully accountable and such atrocities are brought to an end,” the statement concluded.<\/p>\n
