Kathmandu \u2014 The International Brothers Youth Forum has extended a warm welcome to the delegation led by Zhao Peng, Vice Chairman of the Xizang (Tibet) Autonomous Regional Government of the People’s Republic of China, and wished the visit a success.<\/p>\n

Through a formal greeting message on Monday, the Forum expressed its delight in welcoming Vice Chairman Chao and his delegation to Kathmandu. The delegation includes members Pao Ting, Ta Chen, Ka Lie, Wu Kang and Sireng Yangjee.<\/p>\n

The message states that the Xizang Autonomous Region is not only Nepal’s closest neighbour nestled in the lap of the Himalayas but also a living symbol of friendship between the two nations. The Forum noted that centuries-old cultural exchanges, trade relations and people-to-people contacts between the two territories connected by the Himalayas have been further strengthening bilateral ties.<\/p>\n

The International Brothers Youth Forum stated that it is an international network of Nepali youths aimed at expanding friendship, cooperation and understanding with young people around the world. The Forum expressed its enduring commitment to further deepening relations between the youths of Nepal and China, and conveyed its belief that this bridge between the new generation will brighten the future of both countries.<\/p>\n

The Forum expects Vice Chairman zhao’s visit to open doors to new possibilities in youth exchange, educational cooperation, skill development, entrepreneurship, sports, cultural programmes and cross-border friendship between Nepal and China. It also expressed confidence that the visit will make a significant contribution to elevating the overall relationship between the two countries to greater heights.<\/p>\n

The Forum stated that it is always willing and committed to organising joint programmes, exchanging experiences and developing lasting friendship between the youths of Nepal and China, and informed of its readiness to offer assistance and facilitation if required.<\/p>\n

Copies of the message have also been sent to the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Government of Nepal, the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xizang Autonomous Regional Government, and the All-China Youth Federation.<\/p>\n

The five-member delegation led by Vice Chairman Chao Peng arrived in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon from Lhasa aboard a Himalaya Airlines flight. At a time when diplomatic, economic, cultural and people-to-people relations between Nepal and China have been becoming more active in recent years, this visit by the Xizang delegation is expected to give new momentum to youth-level cooperation as well.<\/p>\n
