Russian President Vladimir Putin presented the gold medals of the Hero of Labour of the Russian Federation and the 2025 Russian Federation National Awards on the occasion of Russia Day.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was held on June 12, 2026, at St George\u2019s Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace in Moscow. Awards were presented to individuals recognized for outstanding achievements in science and technology, literature and the arts, human rights, and charitable work.<\/p>\n

Addressing the ceremony, Putin congratulated the participants on Russia Day and said the holiday is celebrated with affection for the Motherland, pride in the achievements of past generations, and respect for key events in Russian history.

Putin also said that a sincere sense of responsibility for the Fatherland is familiar to every citizen. He linked that feeling to participants in Russia\u2019s special military operation, saying it serves as a spiritual support for them, alongside support from Russian society.
