According to Ushakov\u2019s statements, Putin and Trump discussed issues ranging from bilateral relations to the international situation, the Ukraine war, a possible U.S.\u2013Iran understanding, the role of European partners, and future diplomatic contacts. This indicates that direct communication between Washington and Moscow has not been closed; rather, at sensitive moments of crisis management, both sides continue to use each other as necessary diplomatic channels.<\/p>\n

The first and most important aspect of this dialogue is the Ukraine war. Trump is said to have reiterated, in his conversation with Putin, his call for an end to hostilities in Ukraine.
