According to local reports, a sudden fire broke out at a resident\u2019s home in Huzhou, destroying most of the household items. The walls inside the room were blackened by smoke and soot. Firefighters arrived in time and brought the fire under control, preventing serious casualties.<\/p>\n

The preliminary cause of the fire was said to be a mobile charger left plugged into the power socket for a long period. The connector of the charging cable was reportedly trapped under a pillow, gradually overheating and eventually causing the fire.<\/p>\n

In daily life, many people unplug only the mobile phone after charging is complete, while leaving the charger and cable connected to the power socket. Although this may appear convenient, the habit can be risky over time. Once a mobile phone is fully charged, the charger should be removed from the socket in time.

If smoke, sparks, or unusual heat are seen coming from a charger or mobile phone, the power supply should be turned off immediately. The plug should be removed if it is safe to do so, but a hot or sparking device should not be touched with bare hands.
