Iran has claimed that it launched missile and drone attacks against US military bases and infrastructure in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan in retaliation for American air strikes on its southern coastal areas.<\/p>\n

The Iranian military and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said the counterattacks were continuing amid escalating military tensions between Iran and the United States over the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n

According to Iran\u2019s state-run IRNA news agency, a military statement said drone attacks had been carried out against US military bases in Kuwait.<\/p>\n

The statement said Ali Al Salem and Ahmad Al Jaber air bases, missile defence systems, bunkers and other military infrastructure in Kuwait had been targeted.<\/p>\n

Iran described the operations as a direct response to US air strikes on its coastal military sites.<\/p>\n

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps also claimed that, during the second phase of its retaliatory operation, it targeted several military facilities at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain.<\/p>\n

According to the IRGC, its Aerospace Force struck a helicopter maintenance centre, a hangar housing US Navy P-8 patrol aircraft and a command-and-control centre for American military drones.<\/p>\n

The IRGC further said it had launched missile and drone attacks against Prince Hassan Air Base in Jordan.<\/p>\n

The Iranian side claimed that several fuel storage facilities and ammunition depots inside the base caught fire following the attack.<\/p>\n

However, the specific targets and damage reported by the Iranian military and the IRGC have not been independently verified.<\/p>\n

Authorities in Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and the United States have not immediately released detailed statements confirming all of Iran\u2019s claims. Clear information regarding the actual impact of the attacks, the number of missiles and drones used, and damage to military facilities remains unavailable.<\/p>\n

The Iranian military has accused the United States of repeatedly targeting Iranian military sites, civilian infrastructure and members of the public.<\/p>\n

Tehran has described the US operations as violations of the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter, as well as Iran\u2019s sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n

The Iranian military warned that it would use its full military capabilities, if necessary, to protect the country\u2019s sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity and the security of its people.<\/p>\n

The continuing exchange of attacks between Iran and the United States has increased risks to the Strait of Hormuz, regional military bases and the wider security of the Gulf.<\/p>\n

There are growing concerns that any further escalation could have serious consequences for energy supplies, international maritime traffic and overall regional stability.<\/p>\n
