He was arrested on Saturday, according to the bureau.<\/p>\n<p>The Cyber Bureau said Bhusal had been operating a YouTube channel named \u201cNepali Khabar TV,\u201d through which he allegedly broadcast unverified and fabricated incidents as though they had actually occurred.<\/p>\n<p>During the investigation, police found videos carrying misleading headlines and claims, including reports that the home minister had been attacked and suffered a head injury, despite no such incident having taken place.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was found to have prepared and disseminated misleading video content, spread rumours and further provoked individuals and groups involved in ethnic and religious violence and destructive activities,\u201d the bureau said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Police said such content could negatively affect social harmony, public peace and the security situation.<\/p>\n<p>The Cyber Bureau said further investigation and legal proceedings against Bhusal were underway under the prevailing laws related to electronic transactions.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fb-background-color\">\n\t\t\t  <div \n\t\t\t  \tclass = \"fb-comments\" \n\t\t\t  \tdata-href = \"https:\/\/eng.dragonmedia.com.np\/?p=21483\"\n\t\t\t  \tdata-numposts = \"10\"\n\t\t\t  \tdata-lazy = \"true\"\n\t\t\t\tdata-colorscheme = \"light\"\n\t\t\t\tdata-order-by = \"time\"\n\t\t\t\tdata-mobile=true>\n\t\t\t  <\/div><\/div>\n\t\t  <style>\n\t\t    .fb-background-color {\n\t\t\t\tbackground: #ffffff !important;\n\t\t\t}\n\t\t\t.fb_iframe_widget_fluid_desktop iframe {\n\t\t\t    width: 100% !important;\n\t\t\t}\n\t\t  <\/style>\n\t\t  ","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dragon Media News Desk Nepal Police\u2019s Cyber Bureau has arrested a man for allegedly spreading misleading information and rumours through a YouTube channel.
