Eligible companies listed in Hong Kong will also be encouraged to raise capital in mainland securities markets and issue corporate bonds on the mainland.<\/p>\n<p>The arrangement is expected to expand corporate access to both markets and facilitate the cross-border mobilisation of financial resources. It will also allow qualified Hong Kong companies to make broader use of mainland capital-market instruments to support innovation and business development.<\/p>\n<p>Index providers from the mainland and Hong Kong will be encouraged to cooperate in developing more indices based on Chinese assets. The initiative is intended to strengthen the international visibility and global influence of Chinese indices and financial assets.<\/p>\n<p>Procedures will also be simplified for qualified Hong Kong securities and futures professionals seeking licences to work on the mainland.
