Its weekend-to-weekend decline was only about 30 percent, indicating unusually strong audience retention for a large-scale release.<\/p>\n<p>Universal Pictures released the film in U.S. theatres on July 17. Nolan wrote, directed and produced the film, with Emma Thomas also serving as producer.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Damon plays Odysseus, leading a cast that includes Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Charlize Theron and Lupita Nyong\u2019o.<\/p>\n<p>Large-format filmmaking has been central to the project.
