Participants include government representatives, producers, investors, broadcasters, OTT platforms, technology companies, startups and cultural institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Representatives from 21 countries are involved, with discussions focusing on international co-production, content financing, intellectual property, digital transformation, market access and South-South cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>India is also developing WAVES Bazaar as a year-round international marketplace for creative industries. WaveX is intended to connect media and entertainment startups with investors and incubators, while the Indian Institute of Creative Technologies is strengthening skills and innovation in animation, visual effects, gaming, comics and extended reality.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, the government has intensified action against online film piracy.
