Cinema United, citing the Art House Convergence 2026 National Audience Survey, reported that participating independent cinemas recorded grosses 8.8 percent higher than a year earlier and 38 percent above 2019 levels.<\/p>\n<p>The survey covered more than 27,000 moviegoers at over 50 independent cinemas across the United States.
