Institutional clients on Wall Street can reportedly be charged as much as $100,000 per month for the service.<\/p>\n<p>The plaintiffs argue that official presidential communications involving issues such as war, tariffs and government policy should be available to the public and the media on equal terms. They contend that monetizing preferential access could conflict with constitutional protections under the First and Fifth Amendments.<\/p>\n<p>Trump Media has defended the service, arguing that selling rapid access to information is common within the financial-data industry and characterizing the lawsuit as an effort to restrict the president\u2019s communications.<\/p>\n<p>Trump is the largest shareholder of Trump Media, holding more than 40 percent of the company through a trust.
