The decision on the revisions and repeals will also take effect on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>China\u2019s top legislature adopted the Ecological and Environmental Code in March. The Code contains 1,242 articles across five chapters and covers areas including pollution control, ecological protection, and green and low-carbon development.<\/p>\n<p>The new Code is also aligned with China\u2019s long-term climate and green development goals.
