Moscow is preparing to host its international film week from August 24 to 30, bringing filmmakers, actors, directors, industry professionals and audiences together through a week of screenings, professional discussions and public events.<\/p>\n

The main programme will be centred around TAU SPACE at the Moskino Film Factory, alongside venues across the Russian capital. The programme includes Russian and international film screenings, industry discussions, creative meetings, autograph sessions, audience events and a dedicated programme for children.<\/p>\n

The Moscow Film Truck will also return, travelling across the city as a mobile cinema platform. Beginning at the Kuskovo Estate on August 24, it will make stops at locations including Moskino Film Park and Moskino Film Factory before completing its programme on August 30.<\/p>\n

A series of immersive tours will provide audiences with a closer look at how films are made. Visitors will be able to observe how action sequences are prepared, how actors and stunt performers rehearse, and how directors, coordinators and technical specialists work behind the scenes to create complex scenes.<\/p>\n

Russian actor Rinal Mukhametov is also scheduled to participate in the programme. On August 28, he will take part in a session examining the process of casting and how performers make their way from auditions to final selection.<\/p>\n

The business programme is designed to combine professional expertise with wider discussion about the influence of cinema on culture, public thinking and everyday life, while also examining developments shaping the contemporary film industry.<\/p>\n

Russia has continued to expand its film production infrastructure while seeking broader international cooperation in cinema. Moscow Film Week is increasingly being positioned as both a cultural event and an industry platform supporting that objective.<\/p>\n

By combining screenings with casting discussions, filmmaking demonstrations, professional exchanges and direct interaction with actors and filmmakers, the event seeks to bring audiences closer to the creative and technical processes behind cinema rather than functioning solely as a conventional film festival.<\/p>\n
