{"id":23681,"date":"2026-08-24T14:24:38","date_gmt":"2026-08-24T08:39:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eng.dragonmedia.com.np\/?p=23681"},"modified":"2026-08-24T14:24:38","modified_gmt":"2026-08-24T08:39:38","slug":"russia-to-expand-eligible-medical-positions-for-doctors-and-pharmacy-specialists-from-september","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eng.dragonmedia.com.np\/?p=23681","title":{"rendered":"<strong>Russia to Expand Eligible Medical Positions for Doctors and Pharmacy Specialists from September<\/strong>"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dragon Media News Desk<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s Ministry of Health is set to introduce new qualification requirements that will expand the range of medical positions available to doctors and pharmaceutical specialists from September 1.<\/p>\n<p>Under the new framework, physicians from a broader range of medical specialties will be allowed, after the required professional retraining, to work as anesthesiologists and intensive care specialists.<\/p>\n<p>The expanded eligibility will include specialists trained in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, neonatology, endovascular diagnosis and treatment, cardiovascular surgery, general medicine, internal medicine, thoracic surgery, traumatology and orthopedics, urology, and maxillofacial surgery.<\/p>\n<p>The changes are intended to make it easier for healthcare institutions to deploy experienced medical personnel in related specialties when additional staffing is required.<\/p>\n<p>The new rules will also allow gastroenterologists, geriatricians and cardiologists to work as physicians specializing in healthy longevity medicine.<\/p>\n<p>This emerging field focuses on extending healthy life expectancy, reducing the risks associated with chronic diseases and identifying age-related health problems at an earlier stage, rather than concentrating exclusively on treating illness after it develops.<\/p>\n<p>The revised regulations will also affect the pharmaceutical sector.
