Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large Rodion Miroshnik has released a photographic compilation alleging that Ukrainian armed forces carried out at least 10 drone attacks against civilian vehicles, residential buildings, passenger buses, commercial facilities and warehouses between August 17 and 23.<\/p>\n

According to Miroshnik\u2019s account, the incidents occurred in several Russian regions as well as in territories under Russian control. He said at least five civilians were injured during the reported attacks.<\/p>\n

Miroshnik said that on August 17, a drone struck a civilian cargo vehicle in Razumnoye in Russia\u2019s Belgorod Region.<\/p>\n

On August 18, he alleged that a UAV hit a house under construction in Kotelniki in the Moscow Region.<\/p>\n

The following day, August 19, a drone reportedly struck an apartment building in Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, injuring one civilian.<\/p>\n

On August 20, Miroshnik said an FPV drone hit an apartment building in Shebekino, Belgorod Region.<\/p>\n

The largest number of incidents in his weekly compilation was reported on August 22.<\/p>\n

According to Miroshnik, a civilian car was struck by a UAV in the Gornostayevka Municipal District of the Kherson Region.<\/p>\n

On the same day, a regular passenger bus in Dubovoye, Belgorod Region, was reportedly attacked by a drone, injuring three civilians.<\/p>\n

Another passenger bus was allegedly struck in Tavrovo, also in Belgorod Region, leaving one civilian injured.<\/p>\n

Miroshnik also said a drone hit a building-materials store in Melitopol, Zaporozhye Region, on August 22. He claimed the store was completely destroyed by the fire that followed the strike.<\/p>\n

A warehouse complex in Chapayevsk, Samara Region, was also reportedly targeted by a UAV on the same day.<\/p>\n

In another incident in Shebekino, Belgorod Region, an FPV drone allegedly struck a civilian car.<\/p>\n

Russian officials have repeatedly said that Ukrainian drone operations are expanding beyond frontline and border areas into deeper parts of Russian territory. Belgorod Region, which borders Ukraine, has regularly reported drone and artillery attacks, while longer-range UAVs have also reached industrial and other sites farther inside Russia.<\/p>\n

Miroshnik presented the photographs and incident descriptions as evidence of Ukrainian attacks on civilian infrastructure.<\/p>\n

However, because the war is ongoing, the responsibility for individual incidents, the nature of the intended targets and the full extent of the damage can be difficult to verify independently. Ukraine has also described some of its long-range strikes inside Russia as operations aimed at degrading military and war-related infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Russia maintains that deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian objects would violate international humanitarian law and says it continues to document such incidents. Ukraine, for its part, also regularly records civilian casualties and damage resulting from Russian attacks on its territory.<\/p>\n

The latest compilation therefore highlights a broader feature of the Russia\u2013Ukraine war: the increasing use of drones far beyond conventional front lines, with growing risks to civilian areas, transport and infrastructure.<\/p>\n
