Around eight tonnes of relief and humanitarian assistance have been dispatched to communities affected by the devastating flood in the Bhotekoshi River in Rasuwa using eight Nepal Army trucks.<\/p>\n

The relief supplies were sent to the affected areas on Thursday night with the aim of providing immediate support to displaced and flood-affected citizens.<\/p>\n

The materials include 500 mosquito nets, 1,000 dignity kits for children, 220 sleeping bags, 500 blankets, 10 plastic sheets, 100 tarpaulins, 500 solar lamps, 500 solar lamp panels, and one 30 kVA generator, among other essential items.<\/p>\n

As the flood has disrupted electricity, communications, roads and other basic services in the affected areas, priority has been given to supplies needed for temporary shelter, lighting, energy and daily living.<\/p>\n

The management and transportation of the relief materials were carried out under the direct supervision of Home Minister Sudhan Gurung.<\/p>\n

The government said security agencies and relevant state mechanisms are being continuously mobilized to ensure that essential relief supplies reach affected communities as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n

Authorities have also intensified search and rescue operations, medical assistance, temporary shelter arrangements and rehabilitation efforts in the Bhotekoshi flood-affected areas.<\/p>\n
