They toured several exhibition spaces, including the Peacock Room.<\/p>\n<p>Peng welcomed the United States\u2019 return of Chinese cultural artifacts in recent years. She expressed hope that the two countries would strengthen cooperation on cultural exchange and heritage protection while deepening friendship between their peoples.<\/p>\n<p>After the tour, the two first ladies watched American teenagers perform Chinese songs and spoke with them.
