Nepali Communist Party leader Jhak Bahadur Malla \u201cSudip\u201d has questioned Prime Minister Balendra Shah\u2019s performance, arguing that his public image should be judged against the responsibilities of his office. In a social media post, Malla asked whether the government had delivered results on issues affecting citizens directly.<\/p>\n

He questioned the clearance of informal settlements and the arrangements made for affected families. He also asked what the government had done to obtain the equipment needed to search for people trapped in tunnels after the floods. Cooking gas supplies and rising prices were among the daily concerns he said the prime minister must address.<\/p>\n

Malla called for accountability over deaths during street protests and the shooting of young people during the Gen Z movement. He also asked what results the government\u2019s anti-corruption campaign had produced.
