The funding will remain available while the legal challenge proceeds.<\/p>\n<p>The grants support homebuyer education, foreclosure prevention and rental assistance. Ten nonprofit organisations sued, arguing that the cuts would reduce services for families already facing pressure from housing costs.<\/p>\n<p>The groups also allege that the administration targeted organisations working on diversity, equity and inclusion. The administration has described the cuts as part of a broader review of spending on programmes it considers ideologically driven.
