In a post on the Max social media platform, she said both sides were observing the agreement.<\/p>\n<p>On October 23, the White House said Russia and Ukraine had agreed, with the assistance of U.S. First Lady Melania Trump, to halt hostilities in Oleshky to allow humanitarian aid deliveries and preparations for civilian evacuations through a safe corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Ukraine\u2019s Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, had said the ceasefire would begin at 3 a.m. Kyiv time on October 27. The Associated Press reported that both sides observed it during its first day and night. <\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s Defense Ministry said its forces halted fire on the Kherson front at 4 a.m. Moscow time on October 27 and introduced a \u201cregime of silence\u201d to prepare for the humanitarian operation.
