Iran’s Supreme Leader Confirmed Safe, ‘Rumors’ of US-Israeli Attack Dismissed

Tehran: Following intense rumors that Iran’s newly appointed Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei (son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei), was injured in the joint US-Israeli strikes, Iranian officials have officially denied the claims. Yousef Pezeshkian, the son of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, confirmed on Wednesday that the Supreme Leader is completely safe.
In a post on his Telegram channel, Yousef Pezeshkian stated, “Some friends who are in contact have confirmed that the Supreme Leader is safe and sound.” He indicated that previous reports were baseless and affirmed that the leader is in good health.
Earlier, some media outlets had claimed that Mojtaba Khamenei was wounded in the US-Israeli strikes. However, following this statement from Iranian officials, such reports have lost credibility. As the 12th day of the war continues in Iran, with attacks ongoing from both sides, confirmation of the Supreme Leader’s safety during such a sensitive time has brought some relief to the Iranian people.
