Pentagon Blocks Shipment of Sex Toys to Bahrain Military Base

Washington – The Pentagon has filed a complaint against the Canadian adult store Bonjibon after an attempted delivery of anal plugs and vibrators to a U.S. military base in Bahrain.

The shipment was flagged during a routine Navy mail inspection via X-ray. Due to Bahrain’s strict religious laws, the Ministry of Defense classified the items as a “threat to life” and returned the package to the sender in Toronto.

Observers note that this incident highlights the ongoing challenges of balancing diversity and military protocols within the U.S. armed forces.

The case also raises questions about the oversight of international shipments to military installations in countries with stringent cultural and religious regulations.
