Putin Takes Trump’s ‘Peace Council’ Proposal Seriously, Announces Readiness to Contribute One Billion Dollars

Moscow, Russia — Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at a meeting of the Russian Security Council today that he has accepted a personal invitation from former US President Donald Trump to join a “Peace Council” and is treating the matter seriously. He expressed gratitude to Trump for the invitation and instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to study the proposal and consult with partners before Russia gives its official response.
During the same meeting, Putin praised the US role in finding a solution to the Ukraine problem and stated that the Gaza process must have a positive impact on the entire Middle East conflict. Surprisingly, Putin announced that Russia is prepared to provide one billion US dollars in economic support to the “Peace Council” from its frozen assets in the US.
Similarly, he confirmed meetings tomorrow with Trump’s associates Witkoff and Kushner. He also informed that discussions are ongoing with the US regarding the use of frozen Russian assets for the reconstruction of the Northeast Asian region.
In response to a question about Greenland, Putin recalled the historical example of Russia selling Alaska to the US. He stated that Denmark has always treated Greenland harshly, like a colony. According to him, if Greenland is sold at a price comparable to that of Alaska, the US could afford to buy it, but this matter is an internal issue between the US and Denmark and does not concern Russia.
According to analysts, Putin’s active reaction signals Russia’s willingness and alignment to participate strategically in potential future international peace processes under US leadership. It also indicates that Russia’s role in complex international disputes like Ukraine and the Middle East will persist.
