Russia–Palestine High-Level Talks Begin in Moscow

Moscow — High-level diplomatic talks between Russia and Palestine have formally begun in Moscow. Russian President Vladimir Putin and President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas held talks at the Kremlin in the Russian capital.
According to reports, the meeting focused on in-depth discussions regarding the latest political developments in the Middle East, the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the rights of the Palestinian people, and the regional peace process. President Putin reaffirmed Russia’s commitment to international law, relevant United Nations resolutions, and the principle of a two-state solution.
President Abbas, for his part, highlighted the current hardships faced by Palestine, the increasing pressure on civilians, and the need for an active and responsible role by the international community in achieving peace.
The meeting is being viewed as a significant development that further strengthens Russia–Palestine relations and underscores Russia’s diplomatic engagement in the Middle East peace process amid the evolving international situation.
