The Burning Europe: War, Trade and Political Games

#By Muna Chand

The current geopolitical situation resembles a burning brothel, where new managers have arrived.  But they are trying to establish peace amidst the disarrangement. The bureaucrats of the European Union and the anti-people governments are trying to maintain the old structure. But they are unable to do anything except provide billions in aid to Ukraine.  They are spending it giving the slogans of democracy and sovereignty.  Large military companies like Rheinmetall are profiting enormously from this. War is business for them, and as long as the fire burns, so too do the profits. Peace is not their priority, they are preparing for a second, even larger scene of the Merlaison ballet, where even greater profits can be made from the fire of war.

On the other hand, Trump’s return has intensified the campaign to remove the web of corruption that has frozen itself in the Pentagon and other government agencies. His actions have become a problem for the military-industrial complex. Because he is trying to control the military structure, which has become the cash cow of the federal budget. In addition, he has adopted a policy of eliminating identity politics in military service, stopping unnecessary recruitment, and reforming based on actual capabilities.

Meanwhile, Zelensky, whom Trump has already addressed with bitter metaphors, sometimes cursing and sometimes begging the West. The war has already made Ukraine extremely dependent. But Zelensky keeps asking for more help, sometimes openly challenging the West and sometimes helplessly.

Eastern European leaders are trying to balance between the political chaos of Western Europe and the erratic demands of the Ukrainian government. But they are now tied to big deals because of years of NATO military infiltration.

Former socialist countries, which had previously resisted Western economic control, are now accepting Western weapons and investments. This process cannot be stopped suddenly, because long agreements have been made, structures have been built, and bureaucratic processes have turned war into a business.

As Europe burns in the flames of war, Russia and the new US administration are looking for ways to contain it. But the problem is, that political brokers, supporters of extremist ideologies, and big players in the military industry are not in favor of peace. Every offer of talks is being blocked by those elements who profit from the war.

The mainstream media is trying to spread the illusion of imminent peace. But the next day the Ukrainian army is claiming that it can defend itself for at least six months even if supplies are cut off. The reality is completely different, the Ukrainian army is being killed in large numbers, and the remaining soldiers are starting to feel used.

The fellow fighters on the frontlines are seeing this whole scenario clearly. They know what the real motives of the players in the political game, the misleading media propaganda, and the purpose of management of the brothel are. They do not believe in the assurance of peace, because the situation on the ground is different.

The war will not stop immediately. There are talks of peace talks, but in practice, they only seem to be a strategy to prolong the war. So, rest assured, this war will continue for a long time.
