This destruction is not a movement, it is a conspiracy to erase history

# Muna Chand

The current time is a moment of deep sorrow, pain, disappointment, and anger for the Nepali nation and its people. As a patriotic citizen, it is extremely painful for me to write this article, but it is important to give voice to the truth. When the symbols of the country’s history, civilization, and pride are being burned, when the country’s system of governance is being destroyed, when the people’s hopes, aspirations, and property are being plundered, then remaining silent is a crime.

This is not an ordinary political upheaval; it is the beginning of a dark chapter in history. At such times, it is love for the country that compels us to speak. This article is my deep love for the country, my concern, and the cry of a patriotic citizen.

It is clear that the Nepali people have not received even a streak of thread to this day. But what is happening today is the beginning of a greater disaster for the people. Whatever promises and dreams the so-called Gen Z generation gave the country, today all of that has turned into ashes. Their destructive mindset has turned the country into a war-torn and unstable nation like Bangladesh, Ukraine, and Palestine. This is not an exaggeration, it is a bitter reality.

Balendra’s demand to burn down Singha Durbar has been fulfilled today. Not only Singha Durbar, but even a sacred institution like the Supreme Court, the country’s last hope for justice, has been engulfed in flames. This is not just the burning of a brick building, this is the burning of the glorious history of Nepali nationality. This is the erasure of the country’s administrative and judicial memory. Just as the library of the ancient Nalanda University burned down, destroying the history of Eastern philosophy, so too, hundreds of years of Nepal’s history have been burned today. Where will future generations read their history, their laws, and the records of their treaties? This is an irreparable loss.

The demands of those who threatened to turn the country into Bangladesh have also been fulfilled. The country has turned into an example of anarchy. Violence on the streets, arson in courts, and looting in government offices are portraying Nepal as a scorned and failed nation in the international community. This has brought a crisis to the lives of ordinary citizens. Industrialists and businessmen are starting to flee abroad. No one wants to invest in the country, because assets are not safe. Visionary industrialists like Binod Chaudhary have already seen this darkness and have shifted their investments abroad. The country’s economy has reached a state of collapse.

There is a notorious political conspiracy behind this destruction. Thousands of criminals from Kaski and Kailali who were serving sentences for murder, rape, and robbery have been released from prison. Communism came to them. Now they are free and involved in spreading chaos in the country. This has made the lives of ordinary citizens chaotic. Prachanda, Baburam Bhattarai, Gagan Thapa, Bishwo Prakash Sharma, Sushila Karki, Rajendra Lingden, Kulman Ghising’s demand has also been fulfilled, who had jumped, saying “Gen-Z”. They are pretending to be victorious, but in reality they have pushed the country into the mouth of the volcano. They are not a political force, but rather the leaders of a notorious fraud gang.

After property worth trillions of rupees, like Singha Durbar and the court, were destroyed by fire, the demands of the contractors who will get the contract, leaders who will give the contract, and employees will be awarded have also been fulfilled. The largest highway in history, which has cost billions of rupees in corruption, has been ready. Buildings built with public tax money have been destroyed, and now they must be rebuilt with the same public money. This is a cycle of corruption, which will force poor Nepalis to spend their hard-earned money on this again.

The hypocrisy and incitement of some editors and journalists were not uncommon. The demands of many editors and journalists have been met with great fervor. Because they had to earn a living by reporting on the destruction and collecting TRPs. They were nothing but merchandise for sale. They deceived the public under the guise of truthful journalism, adding fuel to the fire. This has called into question the credibility of Nepali journalism.

After the fire in Bhatbhateni, there was no need to do employment. It’s completely over. Min Bahadur Gurung was destroyed. The Chandragiri cable car, worth billions, was demolished. Chandra Dhakal, who paid billions in taxes, was destroyed. It has been proven that this country does not need Min Bahadur Gurung and Chandra Dhakal. These people were the pillars of the country’s economy, and today their property and industries have been plundered. This raises deep questions about the country’s economic future.

Looking at social media, it seems that everyone’s demands have been met except mine. There is no morality left in anyone who supports the destruction of the so-called Gen-Z, who says that damage was done, infiltration was done, and that burning the Singha Durbar and the Supreme Court was wrong. In hundreds of groups opened on Facebook, WhatsApp, and Viber, plans were made about where to burn, and Google maps were shared. The burning and demolition work has been completed just as planned in those groups. This is a well-planned conspiracy, hatched by some vested interests.

But I will say this out loud, I have kept that morality. Because I never supported this destruction. This is the greatest devastation in history, without the people even receiving a single streak of thread. I believe that even when the whole world is on one side, one should be able to stand alone for the truth. I am absolutely convinced that those who see me as a supporter of KP Oli’s misrule are blind. I am a person who believes that a single KP Oli could have been defeated in the election.

The so-called Gen-Z generation, who voted in the election after being sold on alcohol and meat, now has a destination in the Arabian Gulf, Malaysia, Japan, or wherever they want to go. Do prepare for the Japanese and Korean languages. You should go to Manpower. They have tried to build their own future by plundering and ruining the country. But they know that no one will take responsibility for the destruction they have caused, and history will never forgive them.

Trillions have been destroyed. The country has been pushed back another decade. Nothing is found in the ashes; don’t you look for it. The result will be this: The burning of the country’s judicial and administrative history will have an impact that will last for hundreds of years. Historians and researchers who study and investigate will never receive any material. A new prime minister, two dozen ministers, and a few dozen PA jobs opened up for people. A new paradise of loot has begun. The rulers will walk around the burnt-out Singha Durbar-Baluwatar with vip security. Billions of dollars allocated for education, health, and development will be spent on building buildings including Singha Durbar, Baluwatar, and the Supreme Court. Not even a single thread has been received for the people. Today, those who have looted banks and offices and obtained cash, computers and other goods, that’s it.

Those who brought Prachanda to power are now sweating in the Arabian Gulf and Malaysia. Because they came after such destruction. The same fate has befallen the children who brought Oli to power. Because they were sold for meat and rice. The so-called Gen-Z must have made passports too, will replace one prime minister and two dozen ministers, ready to go abroad. Because even thousands of years of history will not forgive you. No one will take responsibility for this destruction. None of the people has even received a single thread. The country has suffered billions in losses. The country has become Bangladesh, Ukraine, Palestine. This is what many wanted. Because their business thrives on ashes. They need ashes again and again.

The hearts of millions like me who long for peace, prosperity, history, tradition, culture, and civilization are crying out. We will find nothing in the ashes! A country whose history is erased will never be useful. Its people can never be happy.

This article is the result of my deep love for the country. I have never been in favor of destruction, and never will be. I will not stop speaking the truth even if I am alone. Because I firmly believe that truth will prevail in the end. Patriotism is not just about waving the flag, it is also about speaking the truth for the sake of the country. Today the country is burning in flames, but there is still a ray of hope. The young generation, the educated society, and the patriotic citizens must rise up. We must save the country from this decline. We must restore our history, our culture, our pride.

The so-called Gen-Z who seek prosperity in ashes should gather those ashes and apply them to their foreheads! The tarnished generation that has lost all wisdom and conscience and erased history has achieved nothing but ashes. We must let the country rise again. We must build our own future.
