Ukrainian Drone Attacks Hit Six Municipalities in Belgorod Region, One Civilian Injured
Moscow — Six municipalities in Russia’s Belgorod Region have been affected by drone attacks carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, according to the regional governor. One civilian was injured in the attacks, which also caused extensive damage to private homes, commercial facilities, vehicles, and infrastructure.
In the Shebekino district, a drone targeted a GAZelle van in the city of Shebekino, injuring a man. He sustained barotrauma and multiple shrapnel wounds and was transported by ambulance to the Shebekino Central District Hospital. After receiving initial treatment, preparations are under way to transfer him to Belgorod City Hospital No. 2. The vehicle was damaged in the attack. In the same area, a second drone strike damaged a truck. Additionally, a drone strike on the premises of an agricultural enterprise in the village of Belyanka damaged a KAMAZ truck and another cargo vehicle.
In the Grayvoron district, a drone explosion in the city of Grayvoron damaged the windows and roof of a commercial building, as well as a car. A second FPV drone struck the entrance of an administrative building, causing structural damage. Two cars parked nearby reportedly showed bullet marks on their exteriors and shattered windows. In the village of Novostroevka First, a drone explosion also damaged the exterior of a commercial building.
In the Volokonovsky district, an FPV drone targeted a private house in the village of Borisovka, shattering its windows. In the settlement of Shakhovka, an unmanned aerial vehicle dropped an explosive device, damaging the roof, windows, exterior walls of a private house, and an auxiliary structure.
In the Belgorod district, a drone attack in the settlement of Oktyabrsky shattered the windows of a private house and damaged a fence. In the village of Chaiky, an FPV drone exploded near a house, breaking windows and disrupting the power line. In the village of Otradnoye, shrapnel from a drone explosion damaged a garage door and a barn.
In the Borisovsky district, a drone attack in the village of Baitsury damaged the roof and windows of a private house. In the settlement of Borisovka, debris from a downed UAV damaged a car parked in a lot.
In the Prokhorovsky district, two drone attacks in the village of Luchki damaged the roofs and exterior walls of two private houses. Regional authorities reported that damage assessments and restoration work have begun, and further details of the incidents are being collected.
