Beijing – The press center for China’s supreme political bodies, the National People’s Congress (NPC) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was grandly inaugurated on Friday at the Media Center Hotel in Beijing for their annual meetings known as the “Two Sessions.”
The fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress and the fourth session of the 14th Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference will commence on March 5 and March 4, respectively. These meetings, regarded as the most significant events in China’s political calendar, are expected to produce concrete decisions regarding the country’s upcoming policies, development direction, and national strategies.
According to the press center, over 3,000 journalists have registered to cover this year’s “Two Sessions.” Among them, more than 1,000 journalists are from China’s Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and various foreign countries.
