Province Secretaries Assigned Responsibilities in Lumbini; Isma’s Centre Recommended at Chapatari

Deukhuri — A meeting of the Lumbini Provincial Council of Ministers has assigned responsibilities to province secretaries. The meeting, held at the Office of the Chief Minister on Thursday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Chetanarayan Acharya, distributed portfolios across various ministries and directorates.

According to the decisions of the meeting, Ram Parajuli has been designated as Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure Development, while Januka Pandit has been assigned the responsibility of Secretary at the Ministry of Agriculture, Land Management and Cooperatives. Anil Marasini has been given charge as Director of the Transport Infrastructure Directorate, informed Health Minister Khem Bahadur Saru.

The meeting also decided to recommend to the Government of Nepal that the centre of Isma Rural Municipality in Gulmi be established at Chapatari in Ward No. 5. Likewise, the meeting approved the “Procedure on Prior Approval for Studies and Study Leave Approval, 2083” tabled by the Office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers.

Minister Saru further informed that the meeting also decided to release the budget for managing furniture and fixtures required to deliver services from the newly constructed building within the provincial administrative complex.
