King Gyanendra Performs Special ‘Gorkhali Puja’ at Manakamana Temple

Gorkha. King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah performed a special ‘Gorkhali Puja’ at the renowned Manakamana Temple, a Shakti Peeth in Gorkha, on Saturday.

King Shah arrived at the temple premises early Saturday morning for the darshan of Manakamana Mai, who has historically been worshipped as the ancestral deity of the Shah dynasty kings. He performed the worship in accordance with traditional rites. During the puja, the chief priest of the Manakamana Temple and local devotees welcomed him.
