Russian Hockey Star Zaripov Listed on Ukrainian ‘Peacemaker’ Database

Moscow. Three-time world hockey champion and five-time Gagarin Cup winner Danis Zaripov has been added to the extremist list of Ukraine’s controversial ‘Mirotvorets’ (Peacemaker) website. Data from the resource confirms this.

The website accuses Zaripov of encroaching on Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as supporting the special military operation. For the same reason, three-time Russian hockey champion Alexei Chupin and Traktor forward Alexander Kadeikin have also been placed on the list.

‘Mirotvorets’ is a Ukrainian online database that has been publishing personal information of individuals deemed to be ‘enemies of Ukraine.’ Many artists, journalists, and politicians have previously been included on this list. International human rights organisations have criticised such a database as a medium that endangers personal security and encourages violence.
