Sikkim Chief Minister Hails Landmark Agreements Between India and the UAE

Gangtok. Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang has extended his heartiest congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the successful signing of a series of landmark agreements between India and the United Arab Emirates.

“The agreements pertaining to strategic petroleum reserves, long-term LPG supply, defence cooperation, technology sharing, and major investment commitments mark a significant milestone in further strengthening the strategic partnership between the two nations. The decision to enhance the UAE’s participation in India’s strategic petroleum reserves with the storage of 30 million barrels of fuel in India for future use is a historic step towards ensuring long-term energy security and preparedness for the nation,” the Chief Minister said.
“Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji, India continues to strengthen its global partnerships and emerge as a trusted and influential force on the world stage. These forward-looking collaborations will greatly contribute towards economic growth, regional stability, and mutual prosperity for both countries,” Chief Minister Tamang added, wishing continued success in further advancing India’s strategic and international relations for the greater benefit of the people.
